Dedicated to Preservation of our Czech Heritage

 

The Czech Heritage Society of Texas and the Czech community Advisory Committee have pledged their support to raise funds for the renovation of the Czech Texas exhibit at the Institute of Texas Cultures. The revised exhibit will feature work, family life, music, and dance. Its goal is to present the history and contributions of the Czechs to Texas in a fresh, exciting format. This exhibit will bring the story of the Czech Texans to life for the more than 350,000 people who visit the Institute every year.

Approximately $20,000 is needed for the first phase of this project. Additional funds will be needed for an interactive video exhibit component. The Institute plans to match cash donations by providing the labor and expertise to research, design, and build this exhibit.
